Design a computer calendar of any size using pictures each month that reflect agriculture in some way. Pictures may include anything from flowers, produce, livestock, pictures of the Exhibition and Fair or maybe you have picture of children riding horses or grooming pets.

Be Creative.

Entries to be judged on originality and visual appearance.

WINNING ENTRY to be judged at B.C. Fairs AGM in Vernon in October 2006.

RULES

  1. Please read all general rules, amateur status & all division rules
  2. All exhibitors must be 13 years or older
  3. Advise on exhibit tag the product used.

 4. No props(lampshades, plastic eyes, eyeglasses, crystals, rhinestones, beads, flowers, etc.) felting or identifying names on piece(s)

 

 

DIVISION L1> CERAMICS LOWFIRE

CLASSES

L1-1 Underglaze – Ez stroke, dust away, overcoat, design coat, etc…

L1-2 Fired Metallic & Lustres – gold, silver, mother of pearl etc…

L1-3 Decal Design

 

L1-4 Colored Glaze – Opaque, transparent, stains, matts etc…

L1-5 Speckled Glaze – Sandstar, enamelware, riverrock etc…

L1-6 Non Fired Colors – Water based, pearls, acrylics etc

Please Note*  Exhibits will be displayed in the Arts, Crafts & Horticultural Centre which will be made up of special tents arranged for everyone’s benefit.

 

The tents were supplied by Bob and Brent Graham while the shelving and walkways were supplied by the Rotary Club of Quesnel. The Quesnel Exhibition and Fair is pleased to be supported by these people and appreciates their donations that will help improve our exhibition and fair.

RULES

  4. Oil & acrylic paintings are to be framed, wired for hanging

 

  1. Drawings & water colors must be matted
  2. 6.  all work must have been done within the last 12 months

 

 

JUDGING CRITERIA

Entries will be judged on:

*Overall aesthetic appeal

Effective use of line, form, space, color & texture

*Appropriate content with center of interest

*Depth created through the use of perspective & proportion

*Appropriate mounting or framing, & equipped to be hung.

RULES

  1. Please read all general rules, amateur  status & all division rules
  2. All exhibitors must be 13 years or older.
  3. All identifying signatures o names must be covered
  4. Minimum size 5”x7”. Maximum size”8x10”
  1. Work must have been taken in the last 12 months
  2. ALL PHOTOS MUST BE MATTED.
  3. DEADLINE.  Photo display must be at the Photography section on the grounds by 4:00 pm Friday August 11
